Newly Formed International Kajukenbo Council Brings Organizations Together Through Partnership
The International Kajukenbo Council is a partnership of independent Kajukenbo organizations committed to communication, cooperation, and a stronger future for Kajukenbo.
The Council is not another Kajukenbo organization seeking members, collecting dues, establishing rank authority, or governing independent groups. It is a place where established organizations can come together as equal partners while retaining their own leadership, identity, traditions, and independence.
Each partner organization may appoint a representative to participate in Council discussions and share information with the organization they represent. This provides Kajukenbo organizations with a practical way to build relationships, discuss common concerns, coordinate events, and explore opportunities to work together.
The Council’s efforts may include:
Improving communication among Kajukenbo organizations.
Coordinating calendars, events, seminars, and shared projects.
Supporting initiatives that benefit the broader Kajukenbo community.
Creating opportunities for organizations and their practitioners to connect.
Encouraging cooperation across different branches, methods, and lineages.
The spirit of the International Kajukenbo Council is simple: partnership without control, cooperation without competition, and unity without requiring uniformity.
Every partner remains fully independent. The Council does not replace or interfere with the authority, leadership, bylaws, or traditions of any participating organization. It simply creates a shared table where Kajukenbo organizations can build trust, exchange ideas, and work together.
The International Kajukenbo Council will meet during this year’s KSDI Worldwide Championships in Las Vegas. Representatives of Kajukenbo organizations who are interested in learning more or exploring partnership with the Council are encouraged to connect with us at the event.
