History

In 2019, Sifu Kelley expanded his studies by beginning formal training in the Emperado Method under Grand Master Mitch Powell. He earned his 1st Degree Black Belt in this method in January 2021.

Sifu Kelley founded Kelley's Kajukenbo in Carson City, Nevada, in March 2019. Since then, he has focused on nurturing a new generation of martial artists, sharing the values and traditions of Kajukenbo with students of all ages.

Kajukenbo has been a defining force in his life, shaping not only his perspective and discipline but also providing a lifelong ohana. As a dedicated instructor and community leader, he continues to serve the art with humility, passion, and a deep respect for its roots.
