Kajukenbo's Women Black Belts
« on: February 17, 2004, 12:44:54 AM »
The subject has come up about why there are not more women black belts in Kajukenbo.
Well. let this thread be a salute to the women black belts we do have.  So if your a women black belt, post your picture and any info you want.  Instructors are also invited to post pictures of their female black belts.

Here's a picture of Head Instructor Sheryl Baber Evans aka kempomama (2nd Degree in Chinese Kempo Karate and Kajukenbo) shopping at Ringside's international Headquarters in Lenexa, Kansas. She use to complain that I spend too much but the day I took her was the day I spent the most. Hmm...

On the left of both pictures is Sifu Melinda Johnson, head instructor of Seattle Kajukenbo. She is one of the most skilled women I have ever met. She's extremely quick and very awesome.
