WAKE UP
« on: November 22, 2016, 07:18:26 AM »
It's been a very long time since I've posted -- or taught. When my employment took a crap from the recession and I was forced into self-employment, the pressure of taking care of my family and working pushed my Y teaching position out the door.

Now things have settled down. I've moved and my new place has it's own out building that is "almost" perfect for a dojo. Good enough to train and teach in (way better than a garage).

I'm looking to get back into teaching and the first place I turn to as a resource is the Cafe. What is sad is that it does not appear that active anymore. FB seems to have supplanted the Kajukenbo family's means of keeping connected and yet, in my opinion, falls far short of what the Cafe has to offer.

So, I need some resources and since they are business related, I'll post separately in that section.

I don't want the Cafe to lose its value because no one posts any longer.

Welcome back, sir.

For what it is worth, I do not use Facebook as a rule so I am on here a few times a week.

No Facebook for me either! I agree, things have become a bit slow around here. It seems a vicious cycle. The less there is to read, the less there is to post to, the less there is to read.... I will try to do my part, butit is rare for me to have a reason to start a post. Anyone have any ideas on how to stimulate activity?

I had some suggestions a while back about people posting Kafe-only pictures, articles and videos but no one seemed interested.
So I have just been putting everything for my Krew on my website and YouTube.
