Although Grandmaster is a generally accepted title in Kajukenbo, Kenpo and a few other arts, it's not a "traditional" title in martial arts today, it's not a historical title (like Sifu or Sensei).  Yes?  No?

I believe the only titles in the past where things like (sensi, sifu, instructor, sabanim)  However, as people live longer and organizations become bigger there is a human need to give titles so that everyone knows where each other stand within the organization.
