Introduction Letter - Trent Junker
« on: April 19, 2013, 01:06:06 AM »
Hello Kajukenbo Family,

In the interest of working towards a stronger Kajukenbo here in the NW and worldwide, I (Sigung Trent Junker) have chosen to accept the position as President for Region 1 of KOA – Oregon, Washington and Idaho.

In addition to myself, the following individuals are on the Executive Board:  Professor Tim Gagnier (KAA Chu’an Fa) has taken on the position of Vice President.  Sifu Ralph Ferguson (WHKD) has taken on the position of Secretary.  Professor Mark Moy (Tum Pai) has taken on the position of Treasurer.

On the Membership Board, thus far, we have Sifu Shannon Spahan (WHKD) as the Membership Manager.  This leaves a few positions open on this Board, that will be filled shortly.

To be clear, as a group, we will be rebuilding bridges and forging new ones, ensuring strong relationships within our Martial community.  We support KSDI, KOA, KAA, and any and all other Kajukenbo organizations.  This is meant to become a bridge between people, not a barrier.  It is time to cross the political boundaries and grow as one family.  As my shirt a few years ago said – “Four Branches, Many Methods, One Ohana”

This Board will be putting together seminars, social gatherings and more.  There will be NOTHING to do with rank or negative politics involved.  There is no control being exercised.  We will merely be working together as a cohesive group towards the betterment of Kajukenbo.

If you have any questions, or thoughts, please feel free to contact myself or the other Board Members.  Thank you.

Kajukenbo Forever!!

Hello GM Harper,

What makes it sad news?  We all have to get away from the political issues that have hurt Kajukenbo so bad.  Our goal is to greatly impact Kajukenbo here in the NW and then hope that becomes a great example for other areas.  All in all, it's just a group of us up here working together for a better future.

You really don't want me to get started on KOA I have been told that if I say anything bad about KOA that I would be hearing from Al's attorneys.
I am shocked that with all you have been doing in the past few years that you would make this choice.
As I said good luck to you and your crew but don't bother with inviting me to any of your events in the future.
Don't post to me on this in public because I have nothing good to say and don't waste your time with emails or phone calls I will not respond.
I'm not angry at you we all have the right to do whatever we want in life, but I am sad.
