One of the TOP 5 Martial Arts / Karate schools

Voted by the Arizona Chapter of Hawaiian Club Activites

The goal of the Arizona Chapter of Hawaiian Club Activities is to perpetuate Hawaii's Cultural Arts (Hula Halaus, Sports, Music & Martial Arts) for the future while preserving it's past.

Sifu Tom Hicks is a decorated War Veteran, having provided security for General Bernard W. Rogers, Supreme Allied Commander, NATO, Shape Headquartes, Belguim, served as a Palace guard for the European Central Command, Patch Barracks, FRG (Germany), guarded 14 General Officers & served in the Honor Guard Platoon. After training in Hawaii Kenpo under Grandmaster George Lim four times per week for eight years, Sifu Tom Hicks attained his black belt & is carrying on a proud tradition. He presently has 65 students enrolled in his class-training in Lim's Hawaii Kenpo. When Sifu Tom Hicks was informed of the acknowledgement from the Arizona Chapter of Hawaiian Club Activities he replied, "Mahalo...honored and stunned at the same time. This is a reflection of my teachers, not me."

Congratulations Sifu Tom Hicks & the Power Ranch Lim's Family Karate-Gilbert, Arizona, representing the lineage of SIJO EMPERADO, PROFESSOR MARINO TIWANAK, XIZU ALLEN ABAD & the teaching methods of Hawaii Kenpo!
