Here is a link to a video interview from bloodymayhem.com with one of our Kajupit fighters “Chevo”
He is 3-0 but he says 2-0 because his opponent in one of the fights backed out at the fight.
1 was TKO in first part of the second round and 1 was a submission in 31 seconds of the first round.
He started out with Sifu art at a solid 200 pounds so he has little fat to loose in the first place.
I am proud to hear my people say they train in Kajukenbo when they are asked what their style is.
This is a very humble kid from the bad streets of fresno that has made a change in his life and we are proud of his dedication to be a true kajukenbo fighter
Body, spirit and mind.
He has all 3 and they are one

He fights this Sunday for the first time at 155
the link loads a little slow, just wait a few seconds.

on a side note this school is in the bad part of town.

Here is a link to a photo shoot with our man Chevo sparing with Billy Evangelista.
Billy Evangelista fights for strike force and holds a record of 10 wins no loss's
After the sparing session Billy had nothing but good things to say about Chevo.
If chevo dropped from 200 to 170 to 155 and can step in the ring at 155 with someone like Billy and more than hold his own then he is on the right track.
After the sparing was over there were some questions from the sponsors and promoters on what is Kajukenbo all about.
Spread the word for us Chevo, Sijo would be and is very proud of you.

I would like to give a shout out to my student and friend for 21 years, Sifu Mark Wallace.
I attended a dinner tonight where he received a police officer of the year award.
Sifu Mark has been with the Tulare county sheriff's department for 21 years.
he started training with me at the same time he joined the department
His Captain stated that mark is one of their best detectives in the department.
He is also the weaponless self defense instructor for the department
I could go on and on but I will keep it short and just say good job Sifu, we at the Kajupit are proud of you and we are proud to have you as a friend

Kajupit fighter "Chevo" wins again with a TKO in the first round.
He's now 4 & 0
he fought with a big clover on his shorts and the word KAJUKENBO on the waist band just above the clover.
We are very proud of our man here in the central valley.
